Meet Our Nurse-Practitioners
JoAnn Neilson, A.R.N.P., is a native Iowan from a small rural community in South-eastern Iowa.
She graduated with an Associate Degree in Nursing in 1976. She attended the Advanced Women's Health Care Program at the University of Texas in Dallas, receiving her Nurse Practitioner Degree in Women's Health. JoAnn was N.C.C. certified in Women's Health Care in 1983.
JoAnn has been working as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner since then and joined the Group in 1990. In addition to annual health examinations, her specialty areas include infertility and prevention and treatment of osteoporosis.
JoAnn enjoys roller blading, cross country skiing, and working in her flower garden.
Stacey L. Flynn, A.R.N.P., M.S.N., grew up in the Quad Cities. She attended the University of Iowa and graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing in 1995. After graduation, Stacey practiced as a Registered Nurse at Genesis in the Birth Center. She returned to school and earned a Master's of Science in Nursing specializing as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN in 1999. Later that year, Stacey was N.C.C. certified as an obstetrics and gynecology nurse practitioner. She has been practicing as a women's health nurse practitioner since then and joined "The Group" in 2001.
Stacey resides in Bettendorf with her husband Mike and their two sons. She enjoys spending time with family and friends. Hobbies include reading, spending time outdoors, exercising and shopping.
Mary B. Johnson, A.R.N.P., M.S.N., was raised in Rock Island and received a BSN from Southern Illinois University and a MSN from University of Illinois - Chicago. Mary is certified by NCC as Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner-WHNP and Inpatient Obstetrics – RNC. Mary has worked in women’s health care for over 20 years and looks forward to meeting patients at The GROUP.
She and her husband have four daughters and one grandson. Mary enjoys spending time with her family.
